WOODSTOCK – Selectmen this week added two more articles to the warrant for the annual town meeting March 30.
The first was submitted by Marcel Polak and Steve Bies and would require candidates for town officers to file nomination papers. The benefits, they said, would be people would know who is seeking what office and could contact the candidates to talk about specific issues.
Currently, nominations are taken from the floor of the meeting.
The second article was submitted by Bies and asks whether the town should stay with Tri-Town Ambulance and Rescue Service for emergency services or change to Pace Ambulance in Norway. He said people should be given the chance to decide which unit they want.
