AUBURN – Tires on nearly a dozen cars and trucks were slashed between Thursday night and Friday morning in a vandalism spree that targeted the Main Street area.

Police said between eight and 10 vehicles fell prey to vandals who sliced tires in a path from the Main Street parking garage to New Auburn.

By Friday afternoon, police were still searching for the culprits. They were asking that anyone with information about the vandalism to call them at 784-7331.
