AUBURN – Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Alden M. Gayton Post 31, American Legion, 426 Washington St. Tickets will be sold for $4 for the Valentine party on Wednesday, Feb. 11. Dues must be paid in order to attend. Bingo will be played after a bag lunch.

The group met Jan. 14 under the direction of President Virginia Houston with 42 members present. At the opening of the meeting, Chaplain Patricia Donohue held a moment of silence in memory of Frances Robitaille and Yvette Mercier.

Officers for 2009 were installed with Lucy Cowles, installing officer. The board of directors includes Merry Strout, Alwin Strout, Lucien Marcoux, Ralph Lashua, Treasurer Irving Grant, Assistant Treasurer George Remillard, President Virginia Houston and Secretary Caroline Chapman; also, Joan Webb, who was absent. Officers are Virginia Houston, president; Helen Stelmok, vice president; Aileen Harnden, correspondent secretary; Irving Grant, treasurer; George Remillard, assistant treasurer; Patricia Donohue, chaplain; Lucy Cowles, membership chairwoman; and Caroline Chapman, secretary.

Birthdays for January were acknowledged. Attendance prize winners were Lucien Marcoux and Madge Gardner; mystery prizes, Mary Tassinari, Eugenia Dixon and Betty Hebert; pot of gold, Ellie Rolerson, Virginia Gagne and Lucy Cowles.

Lunch and bingo followed the meeting.
