Church breakfast

JAY – The Haiti Committee of St. Rose is sponsoring a Breakfast for Haiti fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 8, right after the 8:30 a.m. Mass at St. Rose of Lima Parish Hall.

All funds raised will go to help support the school and clinic in the twinning parish in Haiti.

Takeout meal

WILTON – Academy Hill School Girls Talk Program will sponsor a takeout baked bean dinner from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Academy Hill School cafeteria. The dinner costs $15 and includes a quart of home-baked beans, a pint of coleslaw, six yeast rolls and brownies.

All proceeds will go to purchase children’s books by Maine authors to be presented to the Franklin Memorial Hospital Pediatric Unit.
