LIVERMORE FALLS – The Livermore Falls-Jay Senior Citizens met at Murray Hall on Jan. 26, with 22 members and two guests, Albert and Adeline Soucy, present.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for deceased members and for the men and women in the armed forces.

Fern Doiron was reported on the sick list. “Happy Birthday” was sung for those celebrating birthdays: December, Marilyn Desoto, Mary Potter, Naomi Teixeira and Shirley Toncer; January, Geraldine Richard, Sadie McLaughlin, Christine Harlow, Fern Doiron, Mary Groleau, Edith Leblanc, Annette Richards and Pauline Duguay.

On Monday, Feb. 9, members will have a finger food lunch served at noon. They are asked to bring whatever they wish to share with everyone, including snack food, finger rolls, desserts.

The 50-50 was won by Ellie Mitchell.

The meeting was adjourned and cards and games were played.
