FARMINGTON – The Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community is offering a free workshop, “Introduction to FDA’s Matched Savings,” at the Farmington Center, 108 Perham St., Suite A, on Feb. 10 and April 14 from 6-7:30 p.m.
The workshop will help individuals learn about matched savings accounts that may help further their education, receive job training, or to start or grow one’s own business.
Those who qualify may apply to open a family development account so that every $1 saved can be matched by $2 from public and private investors.
