NORWAY – The Norway Memorial Library, 258 Main St., offers two public story times each week for young children.

Preschool Story Time for children ages 2 to 5 and their parents or other caregivers takes place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays , and includes stories read aloud, rhymes, songs, crafts and other activities.

Infants and toddlers up to age 2 and their parents or other caregivers share rhymes, finger plays, songs and a simple story during Baby Boosters at 10:30 a.m. Fridays. Both are free for all, and no preregistration is required.

Preschool Story Time themes for February and March are as follows:

Feb. 4: “The Letter ‘A’.”

Feb. 11: “Be Mine, Valentine.”

Feb. 25: “Our Stuffed Animal Friends” when children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal.

March 4: “The Letter ‘B’.”

March 11: “The Gingerbread Boy.”

March 18: “Puppy Dog Tales.”

March 25: “Wake Up! It’s Spring!”

If school is canceled in SAD 17, there will be no children’s library program that day. Library closings and other schedule changes are posted on WOXO radio, 92.7FM.
