LEWISTON – Antoinette Boucher, 95, of Auburn died Saturday, Jan. 31, at d’Youville Pavilion after a short illness.

She was born in Lewiston, on April 26, 1913, the daughter of Edouard and Laura (Plouff) Begin.

On May 25, 1935, she married Ephrem Boucher, who died on June 17, 1987.

She was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul Parish, and Ladies of St. Ann’s and was educated at St. Peter’s School. She was employed at the Hill Mill and Bates Mill. She enjoyed singing, crocheting and knitting.

She was a former member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul choir and Senior Citizens singing group.

She is survived by one daughter, Constance Paquette and her husband, Normand, of Auburn; four grandchildren, Robert Paquette and his wife, Lisa, of Sanford, Anne Hunter and her husband, Blaine, of Lewiston, Rachel McCoy and her husband, Michael, of Pennsylvania, and Janine Welch of Lewiston; seven great-grandchildren; and several nephews and a nieces.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Regina Cote and Irene Caron; and one brother, Robert Begin.
