JAY – The Frank L. Mitchell Post 3335, VFW, Auxiliary will sponsor a Valentine dinner and dance to benefit Operation Uplink on Saturday, Feb. 14, at the post, Jewell Street.

The $20 a person ticket price includes a sit-down prime rib dinner and dance, with music provided by Alibi. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the dance will run from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Tickets are by advance sale only and may be purchased at the post. Call 897-5112 or 897-2640. Those unable to attend but who would like to make a donation should send a check made out to Post 3335 Auxiliary and send it to 64 Jewell St., Jay ME 04239. Make a note on the check that the donation is for Operation Uplink.

Operation Uplink keeps active duty personnel and hospitalized veterans in touch with their families and loved ones by providing phone cards to servicemen and women who are separated from those they care about.
