Imagine this: A group of your closest friends and colleagues volunteer to go on stage to be hypnotized. After only minutes, they fall deeply into what appears to be a state of profound sleep, only to awaken seconds later feeling refreshed and thoroughly convinced they are not on stage but lounging on a beach. Such a scene may be created when stage hypnotist Roderick Russell applies the medical principles of clinical hypnosis to the realm of entertainment Saturday, Feb. 7, at Oddfellow Theater in Buckfield. The show, appropriate for all ages, will begin at 7:30 p.m. For tickets, $15, call (207) 336-3306. For more information, check out www.Oddfellow.com.
