BETHEL – Selectmen did not speak with the town attorney at Monday’s special meeting before issuing a statement on their previous decision to not renew Town Manager Scott Cole’s contract. The attorney reviewed the statement prior to Monday. Additionally, according to a statement issued by the board, they may wish to retain his services through June 30 and for an interim period beyond that date, if required. The information was incorrectly reported in Wednesday’s Oxford Hills edition.
