AUGUSTA – Lucille Comeau, 86, of Leeds Junction Road, Leeds, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at MaineGeneral Hospital.
She was born in Lewiston, April 25, 1922, the daughter of the late Alcide and Rachel Brodeur Lafontaine.
She was married to Roger V. Comeau and prior to her retirement was employed as a fancy stitcher at Shapiro Bros. Shoe Co.
She attended Holy Family Church and enjoyed gardening, cooking and camping at Jimmy Pond.
She is survived by her husband, Roger, of Augusta; two sons, Ronald Comeau of Leeds and Normand Comeau and his wife, Ruth, of Litchfield; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Bertrand, Gerald, Fernand and Marcel Lafontaine.
