Brian Berube of Lewiston speeds down the groomed track on a radar run at No Name Pond in Lewiston on Saturday. The Hillside Family Riders snowmobile club held Snowfest, the club’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The event, which includes radar runs and a cookout, was expected to attract more than 500 snowmobiles, including some machines that can reach speeds of more than 140 mph. The proceeds from the event will be used to maintain snowmobile trails. Snowfest will continue until 3 p.m. Sunday.
