Criminal mischief

A window to a porch located at 2 Howe St. was broken out overnight Feb. 2.

A truck parked outside of the Grid Iron bar had its rearview mirror kicked off sometime between 7:30-10:30 p.m. on Feb. 4.

A vehicle parked at building 13 Pleasant Valley Apartments had an unknown substance poured into the engine oil overnight Jan. 31, which damaged the engine.

A mailbox at 73 Knox St. was damaged by a permanent marker sometime overnight Feb. 3.

A vehicle parked at 17 Bridge St. had its windows smashed out overnight Feb. 3.

Thefts

A Merrill Gym patron at 145 Russell St. had an Ipod and a Verizon phone stolen from their gym bag on Jan. 27. The bag was located near the changing area of a dance studio.

A customer of Irving at 674 Main St. had his wallet stolen during the evening on Jan. 30.

A purse was stolen from a room at the Ramada Inn during the daytime on Feb. 1.

A vehicle parked at 65 College St. was burglarized in the evening on Jan. 30, a purse was taken from inside.

A vehicle parked at the LHS gym was burglarized prior to 9 p.m. Feb. 5.

Burglaries

An apartment at 36.5 Shawmut St. was burglarized between noon and 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 1. A rear entry door was forced open, a TV, PSP and games were taken.

A residence at 5 Fireslate Place was burglarized prior to 3 p.m. on Feb. 5. A television and some watches were taken.

An apartment at 105 Vale St. was burglarized overnight Jan. 29. The door was unlocked, and the only property taken was medication.

A residence at 5 Pinetree Lane was burglarized between Feb. 1-2. The only thing taken was an envelope containing money.

An apartment at 3 Orange St. was burglarized between 11 p.m. on Jan. 31 and 2 a.m. on Feb. 1. An EBT card was stolen from the resident’s purse.

A resident of 49 Dumont Ave. discovered a white male, 6-feet, slim build, with a beard or goatee inside of his garage on Feb. 4 at 10:45 p.m. The suspect fled on foot when discovered.

A resident of 221 Scribner Blvd. discovered a white male wearing a green hat inside his apartment on Feb. 5 at 10:02 p.m. The suspect fled on foot.

An apartment at 42 Walnut St. was burglarized prior to 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 2. The door was unlocked and money was taken from inside.

An apartment at 104 Knox St. had damage done to its locks from a suspect attempting to gain entry. This occurred during the daytime on Feb. 1.

Operating after suspension arrests

Brandy Bickford, 21, was charged with operating after suspension on Jan. 30 at 4:16 p.m. at Canal and Locust streets following a routine traffic stop.

David Pelletier, 19, was charged with operating while license suspended on Feb. 2 at 9:24 p.m. at Winn and Lisbon streets following a routine traffic stop.

Leslie Scott, 27, was charged with operating while license suspended on Feb. 4 at 4:08 p.m. at Knox and Birch streets following a routine traffic stop.

Charles Gannon, 38, was charged with operating after suspension on Feb. 5 at 12:09 a.m. at Lincoln and Cross streets following a routine traffic stop.

George Palmer, 50, was charged with operating while license suspended on Feb. 5 at 4:54 p.m. at Spruce and Knox streets following a routine traffic stop.
