PORTLAND – Good Theater this month will present the premiere of “Is There Fat in That,” a one-woman cabaret show written by and starring Ellen Domingos, opening Wednesday, Feb. 18.

The show takes audiences on a funny journey from Brunswick to Broadway as Domingos, a native of Brunswick, tells stories and sings of her career in the theater, working as a professional model and a beauty pageant winner.

Domingos spent many years working with the Maine State Music Theatre starting in 1982 when she was 8 years old and played a young girl in “South Pacific.” She is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School for the Arts.

“Is There Fat in That” will run through Sunday, Feb. 22. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday ($15); at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday ($19) and at 2 p.m. Sunday ($19).
