At Tripp Middle School, I attended Academic Advocate on Wednesdays during Tiger Team (a 50-minute segment in-between second and third period classes) every week. I was looking forward to joining more than one club/extracurricular this year, but I’m limited because all of the clubs meet on Wednesdays, such as Student Council and Civil Rights, and the Advocate. We have Tiger Time every day of the week, so the clubs could meet on different days. TMS should spread out what days of the week that clubs meet so students can join more than one club, and especially because joining clubs here and getting involved is encouraged.

The other issue here is that we also have different activities like Ping Pong downstairs and other activities, also in the gymnasium, but only on Wednesdays. All of the students of different teams can participate in also. I’m upset that I’m missing out on seeing my friends from other teams and ones who aren’t in my classes, but are on my team. I’m sure that other students would like their choices to not be so limited, also.
