This past weekend, has proven that classics are crowd leasers! “The Wizard Of Oz” took place on Friday, January 9, and Saturday, January 10. LAHS has never had such a success in the history of plays that they’ve put on for the public. Both shows were entirely sold out on the floor and they had to open up the balcony so more people could come and enjoy the show.
The cast of the show also had a wide age range of actors, from pre-k to seniors in high school. The younger portion of the cast were cast as munchkins of munchkin land. Lillian Ramsey played Dorothy, Tom Hite played the TinMan, Jesse Juntura played the lion, Madison Cote played Toto (they say her barks sounded real!) and Keith Lemilen played the scarecrow. Every character helped to deliver a great show, though a few mishaps did happen, but that just made it a better show and added to the comedy factor.
