Harvest canceled
LIVERMORE – The annual ice harvest at Washburn Norlands Living History Center, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 14, has been canceled due to poor ice conditions.
Library supper
NEW VINEYARD – The annual Cabin Fever Supper to benefit the New Vineyard Public Library will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at Smith Hall.
The menu will feature chili, chowder, stew, breads and pies. Cost is adults, $5; children 12 and under, $3.50; family deal, $15. There will also be musical entertainment provided by local talent as well as a book sale.
Society speaker
CARTHAGE – The Carthage Historical Society will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, for a potluck supper and program at the Town Office.
Alliance workshop
FARMINGTON – Power Now: Energy Solutions for Farms, Homes and Small Businesses will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at the University of Maine at Farmington’s Olsen Student Center.
