LEWISTON – Blanche M. Cote, 83, formerly of 540 College St., Lewiston, passed away on Thursday, Feb, 12, with her family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston, on June 25, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Rose Anna (Ouellette) Cote. She was educated in local Lewiston schools.
She went on to work at the local shoe shops, retiring in 1970 from Lown Shoe. She was a lifetime member of St. Peter and Paul Parish and she enjoyed knitting.
She is survived by her sister, Laurianne Cote of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Lena Michaud, Jeannette Marcoux, Yolande Collette, Yvonne St.Hilaire; and brothers, Leo Cote and Alfred Cote.
