FARMINGTON – Funeral services for Virginia M. Pond of Farmington Falls were held Monday from the Wiles Remembrance Center with the Rev. John Tolman officiating. A hymn, titled “At Jesus’ Feet” sung by the group Greater Purpose, members of the Farmington Baptist Church, was played at the beginning of the service. Wendy Pond recited special prose that had been a favorite of Virginia’s. A reception was held at the center after services. Winter entombment at the funeral home. Spring family committal services will be held Friday, May 8, at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Farmington.
