MECHANIC FALLS – Pine Tree State Country Music Association Inc. will hold its annual talent search and competition in April. It is open to bands, vocalists, vocal groups, instrumentalists, songwriters, solo artists and more. Categories include modern and traditional music and there several age categories: adult , youth and seniors.

Dates are as follows: Saturday, April 4, for artists using tracks, at the York County Veteran’s Alliance in Biddeford; and Sunday, April 19, for bands and live music, at the Silver Spur Club in Mechanic Falls.

Winners will be announced at PTSCMA’s annual awards show Sunday, May 24, at the Silver Spur.

Entry forms, rules and regulations are now available and artists are urged to sign up soon so schedules can be prepared. Forms may be printed off PTSCMA’s Web site, www.ptscountrymusicassoc.org.
