SUMNER – The wedding of Amanda Bessie Boyd and Joshua Dana Stevens was held at 4 p.m. on Sept. 13 in Sumner. Ann Hersome, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Stevens is the daughter of Jan Corey of Lewiston. Mr. Stevens is the son of Dana and Cindy Stevens of Sumner.
The bride, given in marriage by her two uncles, Gary Tapley and Bob Jones, wore an ivory halter style gown with A-line skirt and a champagne sash.
Joanna Champagne, sister-in-law, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacey Fortin and Ashley Davis, friends, and Shannon Ronco and Nancy Livernois, girlfriends of her brothers. Jenna Doucette, niece, was flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man for his friend was Jason Lebel. Ushers were Dana Stevens, his father, and Josh Boyd, Allen Boyd and Rob Champagne, brothers-in-law. Anthony Boyd, nephew, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at Boofy Quimby Hall in Turner, after which the couple traveled to Boston. They are residing in Sabattus.
The bride is a graduate of Edward Little High School and is employed at FISC.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Buckfield High School and is employed at Liberty Mutual.
