The American people have been bought – lock, stock and barrel. The people, and the politicians who approved the “spendulous bill,” are so out of sync with reality, it’s pathetic.
The president got just what he and the rest of the Democrats wanted, which is for Americans to become more dependent on government handouts. What gets me is that people think the government has something to give to begin with. They seem to have forgotten that the government has nothing to give but what it takes from the people.
Where is the money coming from? Nobody is asking that, or, if somebody has, then nobody is saying where. I’ll let people in on a little secret: The government is either borrowing it from foreign countries, or is just printing it, both of which are wrong. Period.
Another secret that people have forgotten: Government has no business bailing anyone or any company out of debt.
I’m tired of it. I’m tired of Maine’s two turncoat senators, and the inept congressmen – always caving in and refusing to do the right thing for America.
This country, as it was perceived and written about in the Constitution, has disappeared, and it’s not coming back. Taxpayers will be paying for the mistakes for a long, long time. The sad thing is, so will their grandchildren.
