AUBURN – Jamie Henderson was six-for-seven from the field, including four 3-pointers to lead Central Maine Community Collge to a 93-60 victory over Hampshire College on Sunday in the Mustangs’ regular-season finale.

The Mustangs (18-5) limited the Black Sheep to 29 percent shooting and added to a 10-point halftime lead with a 53-30 scoring advantage in the second half.

Tyler Smithgall canned 14 points with eight boards and four steals. Brennen Morton had 12 points on four treys. Josh Martin dished out five assists and Kyle Goncalves pulled down six rebounds.

Sayer Wickman paced the Black Sheep (7-9) with 20 points and Cody Tannen-Barrup added 15.

Women’s basketball

Central Maine CC 81, Hampshire 16

AUBURN – Britney Salley drained a game-high 14 points to lead 12 players in the scoring column as Central Maine Community College steamrolled Hampshire College 81-16 on Sunday.

The Mustangs (17-5) jumped out to a 42-7 halftime lead and rode a 52-34 rebounding advantage and 58 percent shooting to their fifth consecutive victory.

Teira Durgin drained three treys and finished with 13 points and four rebounds in just over 10 minutes of action. Kayla Ellis led a tenacious defense with 11 points and four steals, while Michelle Holmquist and Katie Martin hauled down six rebounds apiece.

Sam Marlow led the Black Sheep (12-11) with seven points.
