AUBURN – Elaine M. Kesaris, 63, of Lewiston passed away on Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Hospice House.

She was born in Rumford, on March 13, 1945, the daughter of Taisto and Eleanor Stanley Koskela. She was a 1963 graduate of Woodstock High School. She was the owner/operator of the former Samco Hall in Lewiston.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Lewiston, the Emblem Club and the Finnish American Heritage Society of Maine. She enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. She enjoyed special times shared with her family.

She leaves her mother, Eleanor Koskela of South Woodstock; a daughter, Karen Bennett and her husband, Tim, of South Woodstock; a son, Alex Kesaris of Lewiston; four grandchildren, Stephanie Inman and her husband, Walter, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, Samantha and Klayton Kesaris of Terese, N.Y., and Chayli Kesaris of Lewiston; one great-grandson, Carter Inman of Wahiawa, Hawaii; two sisters, Nancy Mason and her husband, Earl and Linda Pulkkinen, all of South Woodstock; and several nieces and nephews.
