Public supper

LIVERMORE FALLS – George Bunten Post 10, American Legion, will have a public supper from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21. Cost is $7, children $5. It will be a potluck, with a variety of dishes to choose from. All are welcome.

Camp Sunshine

CASCO – In celebration of Camp Sunshine’s 25th anniversary, the New Balance Foundation has offered the camp a $250,000 matching challenge.

To qualify for the challenge, the nonprofit retreat for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families has launched a fundraising program to sell $250,000 worth of engraved bricks for its walkway at the camp by Dec. 31.

All proceeds will go toward Camp Sunshine’s endowment.

To participate, donors can purchase a brick for $250 and/or a larger brick for $2,500. The bricks can be inscribed with messages of any kind, and they have three or six lines of space for text, depending on size.
