LEWISTON – Claude and Veronica Carbonneau of Rockport are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachael K. Carbonneau, to Ross A. McCormick, son of Patricia Fisher of Lewiston and Steven Lavallee of West Gardiner.

The future bride is a 2001 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., and a 2005 graduate of American University’s master’s degree program in health promotion management. Currently, she owns her own small personal training business as well as works as the health club director of the Samoset Resort in Rockport.

The future bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of Gardiner Area High School and worked as a chef for 10 years after high school. Currently, a carpenter by trade, he owns and operates his own home construction company, Rossco Builders, LLC, of Rockport.

A June wedding is planned at the Ducktrap Retreat in Lincolnville.
