TURNER – The annual town meeting will be held in April. Absentee ballots to vote for municipal officials will be available Tuesday, March 3, at the Town Office, which is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (or by request).

The town meeting will begin at 12:55 p.m. on Friday, April 3, at the Town Office, with voting from 1 to 7 p.m.

Candidates seeking election to the SAD 52 Board of Directors are Elizabeth Bullard, Joann Nickerson and Peter Ricker. There are two three-year terms to be filled.

Candidates seeking election to the Board of Selectmen are Jody Goodwin, Lawrence M. House, Dennis Richardson and Jeffrey Timberlake. There are two three-year terms to be filled.

Candidates seeking election to the Budget Committee are Ronald L. Harris and Rodney A. Shaw.

The town meeting will continue at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Leavitt Area High School cafeteria.
