Cara Pavlak of Auburn has received faculty honors at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., for the fall semester.

To earn the honor, a student must have achieved a grade point average of at least a 3.667 with no individual letter grade below B-minus.

Courtney St. Pierre, daughter of Ken St. Pierre and Lisa Wing of Mechanic Falls, has been named to the dean’s list at Keuka College in Keuka Park, N.Y.

Dean’s list students must have earned at least a 3.50 grade point average for each block of at least 12 semester credit hours.

St. Pierre, a sophomore, is studying occupational therapy. She is a 2007 graduate of Poland Regional High School.

Emily E. Staszak of Auburn was named to the dean’s list at Bates College as a result of her scholastic standing during the fall semester of the 2008-2009 academic year.

Staszak, a classical and medieval studies major, is a 2006 graduate of North Yarmouth Academy. Staszak is the daughter of Sharon and David Staszak of Auburn. Her undergraduate activities include Bates Steel Pan Orchestra and singing a cappella in “Take Note.”

Darcy Herrick of Otisfield was recently named to the dean’s list at Maine Maritime Academy, Castine, for outstanding academic achievement in the first semester of the 2008-2009 academic year.

Students named to the list earn a grade point average of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Herrick, a member of the class of 2009, is majoring in marine biology. She is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, South Paris. Maine.

Michael Holland of Jay has been named to the dean’s list at Maine Maritime Academy, Castine, for outstanding academic achievement in the first semester of the 2008-2009 academic year.

Students named to the list earn a grade point average of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Holland, a member of the class of 2012, is majoring in Power Engineering Technology. He is a graduate of Jay High School.

Juliana Marie Kirkland of Greene was named to the dean’s list at Bates College as a result of her scholastic standing during the fall semester. Kirkland is a 2004 graduate of Leavitt Area High School. She is the daughter of Kathryn Grefer-Kirkland and Allan L. Kirkland of Greene.

Her undergraduate activities include Model United Nations, Bates Buddies, Teachers Assistant, Intramural soccer, International Club, Outing Club and varsity track.

Jessica Moser of Poland has made the dean’s list for the fall semester at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa. She is the daughter of Alison Moser and Matthew Moser and is a graduate of Poland Regional High School.

Hiram College, Hiram, Ohio, has announced that Kritsinee Khowcharoen of Fryeburg has been named to the dean’s list for completing 12 or more hours of graded coursework and achieving at least a 3.6 grade point average for the fall semester.

Eric Daniels, son of John and Lisa Daniels of Sabattus, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of New England. It is Daniels’ fifth consecutive dean’s list honor.

Daniels is a 2006 graduate of Oak Hill High School in Wales. He is majoring in athletic training and will apply to the physician assistant program in the summer.

Kevin Levesque, son of Bob and Wendy Levesque of Turner and Karen Levesque of Falmouth has been named to the deans list for the third consecutive semester at Northeastern University. He is a 2007 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and is majoring in civil engineering.

He is a member of the Northeastern American Society of Civil Engineers and is working in the engineering department of NatGun Corporation of Wakefield, Mass., as of part of the co-op program at the university.

Laura Fralich, Class of 2011 at Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, N.Y., earned honors for the fall semester. She is the daughter of Michael and Julie Fralich of New Gloucester. Honors are awarded for a grade point ratio of 3.4 to 3.669.

Elmira College, Elmira, N.Y., has released its dean’s list for academic achievement for the fall term. Melinda Hodgkin, Class of ’10, of Lewiston, a business administration major, has attained the list, which recognizes students who have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher. She is the daughter of Andrew and Rae Ann Hodgkin.

Rachel Kennedy, a member of the class of 2009, is majoring in marine transportation operations. She is a graduate of Edward Little High School.

AJ Cerrato of Sumner has been named to the dean’s list at Maine Maritime Academy, Castine, for outstanding academic achievement in the first semester of the 2008-2009 academic year.

Cerrato, a member of the class of 2009, is majoring in Marine Engineering Technology. He is a graduate of Buckfield Junior-Senior High School.

Paula Arlaud of Gray attained membership to the dean’s list for the fall term at Curry College in Milton, Mass.

Amanda Fortier, daughter of Mike and Jeanne Corriveau of Minot, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of New England. Dean’s list students have attained a grade point average of 3.3 or better out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester.

A 2005 graduate of Poland Regional High School, Fortier is a major in occupational therapy. She is also involved in UNESOTA as the secretary.

Amy Chipman, daughter of Beverly and Ronald Chipman of Poland, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall term at Elmira College. Dean’s list students have a grade point average of 3.6 or higher. She is a member of the class of 2012 and majoring in mathematics and childhood education.

Anna Dean of Mechanic Falls has made the honors list for the fall semester at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa. She is the daughter of Timothy Dean and Vicki Dean and is a graduate of St Dominic Regional High School.

Sabattus resident Amanda Newton, majoring in marketing, was named to the fall dean’s list at Newbury College, Boston.
