Dear Sun Spots: We’re restoring a 1950s style kitchen and would like to find a vintage rounded refrigerator to put in it. I’m hoping that one of your readers may help me in locating one. I would be willing to purchase outright or swap for a newer unit. Thank you. Call Bruce at 754-7135. – Bruce, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: Your column is surely the most read section of the paper. I know I never miss it. I am looking to find out if you or anyone know of beginning or intermediate line dancing classes in the L/A to Portland area. We have a small group interested in starting in May and going into fall. Thanks for your help. – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
Sun Spots spoke with a line dancer from Auburn, who suggested going to Central Hall in Lewiston and Club Texas in Auburn for line dancing.

Central Hall, 191 Lisbon St., has beginner line dancing every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Call 783-6667 for more information. On Wednesdays, intermediate line dancing is also held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Call 786-0003 for more information. All are welcome to attend and entry to the hall is on the fourth level of the Centerville parking garage.

Club Texas, 150 Center St., behind Stratham Tire, has line dancing on Thursdays. Call the club at 784-7785 for more information.

Check out the “What’s happening this weekend” calendar listings under “Dance” for new listings in Friday’s Encore section of the Sun Journal.

The Gold Room on Warren Avenue in Portland has line dancing every Wednesday night. Doors open at 7 p.m. and there are lessons throughout the night with dancing in between. All ages are welcome and the cost is $2.

There are a lot of other places that offer lessons in Portland. A great Web site to visit for the complete listing is www.worldlinedancenewsletter.com. There you’ll find contact information for classes, as well as costs and locations.
