GREENE – According to the town’s warrant, the Public Works department is asking to spend $80,000 less this year than it requested for fiscal year 2008. The proposed budget also includes setting aside $25,000 toward the future purchase of a firetruck. The information was incorrectly reported on page B1 in Friday’s City edition.
