DIXFIELD – The following incidents were handled by Dixfield police:

Arrests

• A 15-year-old boy from Dixfield, and a 16-year-old boy from Carthage were arrested on Feb. 28 on charges of burglary of a home on Newton Street. About $300 in cash and coins was taken. The incident is believed to have happened at 2 p.m. Feb. 26. The boys were released to the custody of their parents providing they receive adult supervision. They are scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 7.

• Jeannette White, 74, of Common Road, Dixfield, on a charge of operating under the influence, at 6:40 p.m. Feb. 28. on Main Street. She was released from the Rumford Police Department on $400 unsecured bail. She is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 5.
