LEWISTON – Dolores F. Pepin, 66, a resident of Spring Street, Auburn died unexpectedly early Monday, March 9, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Auburn, April 26, 1942, the daughter of Lafayette and Vera (Hamblin) Nickerson.

She was an avid volunteer at the Good Shepard Food-Bank that was part of her life in helping her fellow man who were needier then herself and was loved by all who knew her because of her special care and concern.

Her hobbies included word search and puzzles as well as tending to her small flower garden, and she most enjoyed summer evenings on her porch swing with her cat, “Morris.”

Survivors include two sons, David R. Pepin and his wife, Emily, Gerard R. Pepin II and his wife, Jessica and one stepson, Robert L. Pepin, all of Auburn; four brothers, Leslie Nickerson and his wife, Jeanne, of Titusville, Fla., Alan Nickerson and his wife, Kathy, of Leeds, Norman Nickerson of Auburn and Richard Nickerson and his wife, Adrienne, of Sabattus; one sister, Shirley DiMambro and her husband, Daniel, of Turner; five grandchildren, Kristina, Nicole, Matthew, Meghan and Maizie; as well as one great-grandson, Ayden.
