WATERFORD – A 33-year-old man was arrested as a fugitive from justice Sunday night at his Waterford home on a warrant from Massachusetts.
Leonardo Amaral of 605 Mill Hill Road, was arrested at 9 p.m. by Maine State Police Trooper Tom Welch. The Swansea, Mass., Police Department warrant charges Amaral with larceny of a motor vehicle, state police Lt. Walter Grzyb said.
Other arrests over the weekend included:
• Andrew James Buck, 19, 942 Hunts Corner Road, Albany Township, was arrested Saturday at 4:28 a.m. on Grover Hill Road and charged with criminal mischief and furnishing liquor to a minor.
• Bradley Crowell, 19, of 599 Bonney Road, Buckfield, was arrested at 2:07 a.m. Saturday and charged with attempting to elude an officer.
• Leah Agnes Doyle, 23, of 142 Sebago Road, Hiram, was arrested on Friday at 11:29 p.m. and charged with failure to appear in court.
• Zachery Gallant, 20, of 481 Gore Road, Woodstock, was arrested at 3 a.m. on Sunday at his home and charged with furnishing liquor to a minor and furnishing a place for the minor to consume liquor.
• Craig Goodwin, 20, of 19 Swinton Road, Woodstock, was arrested at 1:11 p.m. Friday at Oxford County courthouse and charged with failure to pay fines.
• Donna Hartzog, 46, of 77 Maine Ave., Rumford, was arrested Friday and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol.
• Aaron Scott Heath, 21, of 116 Sodom Road, Hebron, was arrested at 12:35 a.m. Saturday and charged with operating under the influence of intoxicant.
• Alton Fermonda Johnson, 45, of 104 Blake Street, Apt. 2L, Lewiston, was arrested on Lisbon Street in Lewiston and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
• Michael Logan, 26, of 640 Main St., Denmark, was arrested at 1:21 a.m. and charged with driving to endanger, giving a false public alarm and leaving the scene of an accident.
• Nicholas Sumner, 19, of 111 Flat Road, Bethel, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass, furnishing liquor to a minor.
