AUBURN – Flora Spencer Bolesta, 94, a resident of 440 Minot Ave., died early Thursday, March 12, at the Clover Manor Health Care Facility after a brief illness.

She was born in Sabattus, April 17, 1914, the daughter of Gerald and Louise (Springer) Spencer. She grew up in Litchfield and was a 1933 graduate of Edward Little High School in Auburn. She went on to design school in Boston and married Harold Bolesta, and then moved in 1963 to Odessa, Fla., until recently moving back to Auburn to be close to her sister, Irma Spencer, who died in 2006.

Survivors include one son, Spencer Bolesta of Clearwater, Fla.; one daughter, Rhonda Brainard of Odessa, Fla.; three grandchildren, Stephanie Soloman, Ryan Wilson and Kristin Bolesta; one great-grandson; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her sister Irma, she was predeceased by her longtime companion, Manuel Bettancourt.
