LEWISTON – A memorial Mass honoring the life of Robert E. Helms was celebrated on Thursday at Holy Family Church, after prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Nathan March celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Military honors from the U.S. Marine Corps played “taps” and presented our country’s flag to Mr. Helms’ son, Keith Helms. All in attendance were invited to a reception of fellowship at the home of Nancy Helms in Lewiston, after the committal services at the cemetery.
