LITCHFIELD – The Theatre Arts Day Camp, which is held each summer by qualified, trained instructors in the visual and performing arts, is accepting applications for their 2009 season.

Session one of the camp will be for children ages 7 to 11 and will run Aug. 3 to 11. The session will offer activities in introductory acting techniques, basic movement and voice control, beginner stage make-up, as well as elementary production design.

Session two will be for children ages 12 to 16 and will run Aug. 12 to 16. It will offer advanced acting techniques, improvisation, advanced stage make-up, advanced special effects and general stagecraft.

Enrollment in each session is limited to 20 participants and each session will have a final performance.

The fee of $175 includes course instruction and materials, personal make-up kit, tickets to a professional performance, guest artists and daily healthy snacks.
