DIXFIELD – The following accident was handled by Dixfield police last week:

Gregory Gallant, no age available, Carthage, struck a deer as it leaped over a snowbank and into Weld Street at 6:46 a.m. March 12. Gallant was driving a 1987 Toyota pickup truck, which had minor damage to the right front of the vehicle. The deer was killed.
