CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Lawrence W. Bartlett, 63, formerly of 6 Free St. in Lisbon Falls, currently of 959 Gateway Ave. in Chattanooga, Tenn., passed away Thursday, March 19, at Memorial Hospital, after a battle with pulmonary disease.

Larry was born in Lewiston, June 21, 1945, the son of Lawrence Frances and Anna Veronica Janosco Bartlett. He was educated in Lisbon Falls schools and later served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was later honorably discharged. During his service career, he was decorated as an expert sharpshooter.

On Jan. 11, 1964, he married the former Madelyn Bulick of Lisbon Falls and together they had two children, Nadine Marie Gendron and Daniel W. Bartlett Bulick. He was self-employed as owner and president of his insurance company, Bartlett & Associates located in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Among his interests were professional gun collecting, automobile restoring, fishing, boating and spending time with his pets. He was a very proud member of the Masonic Lodge in Chattanooga. He was a 33rd degree Mason and later became a Shriner with the Alhambra Shrine in Tennessee.

He is survived by his daughter, Nadine Marie Gendron of Lisbon Falls; his son, Daniel W. Bartlett Bulick of Lisbon Falls; his three grandchildren, Daniel N.L. Bulick of Lisbon Falls, Gage H. Bulick of Falmouth and Madison J. Gendron of Lisbon Falls.
