SALEM, N.H. (AP) – Police say a Massachusetts woman has been accused of shoplifting in Salem, N.H., and that she hid merchandise in stroller being pushed by her 3-year-daughter.

Police said Macy’s employees reported Wednesday that a woman was shoplifting at the store. Workers said the woman’s daughter was seen pushing a stroller with stolen merchandise hidden in it. Investigators said the merchandise totaled $765.

Police arrested 30-year-old Yashoda Sukhavasi, who was released on $1,000 bail. The girl was released to her father’s custody.
