WILTON – Funeral services for Phyllis P. Adams of Wilton were held Friday from the Wilton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Margaret Proctor officiating. Therese Therrien was organist and sang, with Francis Grose and Nat Jordan, the hymn “In The Bulb.” Congregational hymns included “Amazing Grace” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” A personal eulegy was given by long-time friend and neighbor Alvin “Mac” McDonald. Scriptures were Psalm 23 and Romans 8, selected verses. Pallbearers were Kyle Davis, Eric Forbes, James Adams, Alvin McDonald, Richard Corey and Mark Pomeroy. After services, a family reception was hosted by the United Methodist Women in the church vestry. Springtime committal services will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, Wilton.
