JAY – Funeral services for Starr R. Nelke of Winthrop were held Friday from the Wiles Remembrance Center, Jay, with the Rev. Thomas Lequin of St. Rose of Lima Church, Jay, officiating. Special music included “Ave Maria” and “The Wind Beneath My Wings.” Brother-in-law, Jack Yeaton delivered a personal eulegy. After services, a reception was held at the center. Spring committal services will be held at the Waters Hill Cemetery, North Livermore.
