CROSS LAKE TOWNSHIP (AP) – A 37-year-old Warren, Maine, man was seriously hurt when his snowmobile hit a bridge and got tangled in the bridge’s rails.

Maine Warden Sgt. Tom Ward said James Sewall was taken to Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent after the 11:20 p.m. Friday accident. Sewall is being treated for serious injuries to his torso and right arm.

Sewall was wearing a helmet.
