Benefit dinner

NEW VINEYARD – A benefit potluck dinner for the family of Reggie Heath, who lost everything in a recent fire, will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 5, at Smith Hall. All donations, $5 adults, $2.50 children, will go to the family, and anyone willing to bring a potluck dish is welcome to do that also. The benefit is being sponsored by family and friends.

Contradance set

FARMINGTON – A contradance will be held Saturday, April 11, at Farmington Grange, Bridge Street.

Easy dances will be held from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. at a cost of $2 adults, $1 children. Regular dance will take place at 8 p.m., $6 admission, $5 for students. All are welcome and no partner is necessary.

All dances will be taught and called. Music will be by Rock the Boat; calling by Richard Green. For more information, call 491-9928.

Easter dinner

NEW SHARON – An Easter ham dinner will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at the New Sharon Masonic Lodge, Route 2. Cost is adults $8 and couples $15. Proceeds will benefit the building fund.
