RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for John J. O’Leary Sr. was celebrated Monday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Softly & Tenderly Jesus is Calling,” “You Raise Me Up,” “On Eagles Wings” and “This Is My Father’s World.” Readings were done by Arthur Clifford, Brandie, Emily, Brianne, and Angela. The eulogy was a poem read by his daughter Anne Clifford. Pallbearers were Jamie O’Leary, Stephen Jones, Donald O’Leary Jr., Arthur Clifford, Shawn Drakus, and Joseph Drakus. Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Relatives and friends may pay tribute to John at www.mem.com.
