RUMFORD – The following incidents are reported by the Rumford Police Department.

Arrests, summonses

On March 30 at 7:03 p.m., Ashley Amburg, 20, of Dixfield was arrested by Patrolman Scott Mills on two warrants for failure to pay fines for allowing a minor to possess alcohol. Amburg was unable to post bail and was taken to the Oxford County Jail.

On March 30 at 7:04 p.m., Adam Keefe, 25, of Carthage was arrested by Cpl. Matthew Noyes on two warrants for failure to pay fines for operating under the influence and operating without a license. Keefe was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

On March 31 at 11:40 a.m., Paula Spearrin, 54, of Bethel was summoned by reserve Patrolman Brock Clukey for theft and violation conditions of release. Spearrin was summoned to appear in Rumford District Court on June 2.

On March 31 at 6:57 p.m., Nathan Henderson, 18, of Rumford, was summoned by Cpl. Matthew Noyes for operating without a license. Henderson is to appear in Rumford District Court on July 7.

On April 2 at 8:50 a.m., Anthony Richards, 33, of Rumford was arrested by Capt. Daniel Garbarini on a charge of unlawful sexual contact. Richards was unable to post bail and was taken to the Oxford County Jail.

On April 3 at 2:49 p.m., Kenneth Felter, 34, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Lawrence Winson on a charge of domestic violence assault. Felter was unable to post bail and was taken to the Oxford County Jail. He is to appear in Rumford District Court on June 2.

On April 4 at 3:19 a.m., Donny Holder, 32, of Rumford, was arrested by Patrolman Donald Miller on a charge of domestic violence assault, criminal restraint and obstructing report of a crime. Holder posted $300 cash bail and is to appear in Rumford District Court on June 2.

Wanted

Kurt Pitts, 42, of Rumford is wanted on a 2009 warrant for failure to appear on a Superior Court charge of operating after habitual offender.

Theft

On March 31 at 11:40 a.m., a Hancock Street business reported a shoplifter.

On March 31 at 5 p.m., a High Street resident reported five gallons of gasoline valued at $10 were stolen out of her vehicle. Incident is under investigation.

On April 1 at 9:07 a.m., a Lincoln Avenue resident reporting coins valued at $500 and a $25 bottle of wine were stolen from his basement. Incident is under investigation.
