Trevor Laliberte will be the featured performer at 6 p.m. Friday, April 17, at the Teen Open Mic at the Auburn Public Library. At age 6, he acquired a guitar at an antique store while shopping with his mom. That Christmas, he received an electric guitar as a gift and has since composed and played rock music at various functions. Laliberte attends school in Auburn and has become a regular at the monthly open mics attended by singer-songwriters, musicians, comics and poets. Teens are welcome to invite older friends and family to perform. Bring a can of food for the Auburn Food Pantry if you would like. For more information, call Sally at 333-6640, ext. 4, or e-mail [email protected].
