Chapter to meet
FARMINGTON – The Sandy River Valley Chapter, Maine Genealogical Society, will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 11, in the Farmington Public Library. The program will focus upon the Huguenot Society, its beliefs, traditions and connections to genealogy. The public is welcome.

NEW VINEYARD – The New Vineyard Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, when Elaine Wells will present information about the Adams family. The public is welcome to attend the meetings and to visit the historical room from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays June through August.
Potluck dinner
WELD – The Weld Congregational Church will hold its annual Maundy Thursday potluck dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at the parsonage, with a service to follow at 7 p.m.
Flower dedications may be given to Chris at 585-2306 no later than 3 p.m. Friday, April 10. Flowers may be left at the church late Saturday afternoon.
Parishioners will meet at the Snowman Farm across the lake for sunrise service at 6 a.m. Sunday, April 12. Breakfast will follow at 7 a.m. at the parsonage.
Those who wish to bring something for breakfast should call Chris Cochran at the above number. Easter service will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Retired educators
FARMINGTON – Franklin County Unit Retired Educators will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, April 20, at Two Oaks, 218 Fairbanks Road. There will be a program, meeting and lunch. Retired educators are invited to attend. For more information or reservations, call 778-4282.
