MEXICO – The following incidents were handled by the Mexico Police Department:

Arrest

• A 17-year-old Mexico boy was arrested on charges of driving without a license at 3:29 p.m. April 7 on Lincoln Avenue in Rumford. He was released to a guardian and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 7.

Theft

• The theft of gasoline, beer and cigarettes from the Big Apple on River Road was reported at 1:10 a.m. April 4. Police have a suspect.

Vandalism

• A Roxbury Road resident reported at 10:44 a.m. April 4 that someone smashed the rear window of a van parked in his driveway between 3 and 8 a.m. Damage was estimated at $450.
