LEWISTON – Lewiston Recreation Department’s upcoming Girls & Boys Lacrosse Program has scheduled a Parents Meeting has been scheduled for Monday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch Street, Lewiston. All youth participants must be registered by the 13th as well.
No prior knowledge of the sport is necessary for a youth to participate, and participants will be divided into three age divisions. Date/time of play will be determined in the near future.
Division I will consist of 7th & 8th grade boys & girls; Division II will consist of 5th & 6th grade boys and girls; and Division III will consist of 3rd & 4th grade boys & girls. In-town & out-of-town travel will occur with the Lacrosse Program, and parents/guardians will be responsible for transport of their respective youth.
The program fee for Divisions I & II is $80 for Lewiston residents; $95, for non-residents. The fee for Division III is $65 for Lewiston residents; $80, for non-residents. The fee includes the cost of a 2009 jersey.
Bridget Cailler will serve as Director & Lacrosse Scheduler/Assignor. Coaches, however, are needed. If any parent is interested in becoming a coach/assistant coach, a Coaches Registration Form and Background Check Form are available at Lewiston Recreation, 65 Central Avenue.
